This legal notice governs access to and use of the website infocrypto.site (hereinafter "the site" or "InfoCrypto"). Browsing it means accepting the terms set out here; if you disagree with any of them, please do not use it.
Details of the site owner
The site is edited from Spain, and the following details are provided in compliance with article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE):
- Owner: [TO COMPLETE: full name of the owner]
- Tax ID: [TO COMPLETE: tax identification number]
- Address for notices: [TO COMPLETE: full postal address, with post code, town and province]
- Contact email: contacto@infocrypto.site
- Domain name: infocrypto.site
- Hosting provider: [TO COMPLETE: company name and registered address of the hosting provider]
The owner is a natural person resident in Spain who edits the site in a personal capacity. They are not an investment firm and are not entered in any register of crypto-asset service providers, because they provide none of the services for which such registration is required.
Purpose and scope
InfoCrypto is an educational publication: it produces guides, a glossary, frequently asked questions and calculation tools covering crypto-assets, blockchain technology and their regulation, for informational and educational purposes only.
It sells no products or services, raises no funds, acts as intermediary in no transaction, holds no assets in custody and manages no portfolios. There is no user registration, no members' area and no online contracting. The only processing of personal data is that arising from email and from the third-party services described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy. These terms apply to the whole site, in both its Spanish and English editions.
Terms of use
Users undertake to use the site diligently and lawfully, and in particular:
- Not to use it for unlawful purposes, in ways that harm the rights of others, or contrary to public order.
- Not to introduce programs or data capable of damaging the systems of the site, of its hosting provider or of other users.
- Not to access restricted areas or to disrupt the operation of the site through mass automated requests or equivalent techniques.
- Not to use the content for unsolicited advertising, or to attribute to the owner recommendations they have not made.
The owner may modify, suspend or withdraw any content, and may deny access to anyone breaching these terms, without notice and without any right to compensation.
Intellectual and industrial property
The texts, the navigation structure, the selection and arrangement of content, the tables, the graphics and the source code are the owner's original work or are used under licence, and are protected by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, the consolidated text of the Intellectual Property Act, together with the applicable international treaties.
Quotation of short extracts for informational, teaching or research purposes is permitted, provided the source is credited and linked to the original page, in accordance with article 32 of that Act. Reproducing entire articles, or translating, adapting or commercially exploiting them, is prohibited without prior written authorisation.
Third-party trade marks, trade names and logos appearing on the site (exchanges, wallet manufacturers, protocols or public institutions) belong to their respective owners and are cited on a strictly nominative basis, to identify the product or service being discussed. Their mention implies no commercial relationship, association, sponsorship or endorsement between those owners and InfoCrypto.
Links to third-party sites
The site links to external pages, primarily primary sources: legislation, protocol documentation, supervisors' announcements and market data, so that readers can verify the information for themselves.
The owner does not control those sites, is not responsible for their content or availability, and the link implies no recommendation or approval of what is published there. If you find that a link leads to unlawful or misleading content, report it to contacto@infocrypto.site: it will be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed in accordance with articles 16 and 17 of the LSSI-CE.
Disclaimer regarding content
InfoCrypto's content is general educational material. Under no circumstances does it constitute financial advice, an investment recommendation, tax advice, legal advice or an investment research service. It takes no account of the personal circumstances, assets or objectives of any particular reader, because the owner does not know them. Nothing published should be read as an invitation, offer or inducement to buy, sell or hold any asset.
Crypto-assets are high-risk products. Their prices are extremely volatile, there is not always a liquid market in which to unwind a position, and their value can fall abruptly and permanently. Losing the entire amount invested is perfectly possible.
Crypto-assets are not bank deposits or traditional financial instruments, and they are not covered by the Spanish deposit guarantee fund for credit institutions or by the investor compensation scheme (FOGAIN) — nor, as a rule, by the equivalent schemes in other countries. If the platform holding them fails or turns out to be fraudulent, there is no public compensation mechanism comparable to the one protecting bank depositors. Losing a private key or a recovery phrase is, in addition, irreversible in practice: no customer service desk can restore it.
Market data expires. The figures for prices, market capitalisation, fees, yields, volume or total value locked that appear on the site were collected on 28 August 2026, and this is stated within the text itself. They may have changed substantially since: before deciding anything, check against the original, up-to-date source.
The owner verifies what is published with reasonable care and cites the sources used, but does not guarantee that the information is free of errors or omissions, nor that the site will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or from decisions taken on the basis of its content. Faced with a specific decision, consult a professional authorised by the competent financial regulator, or a qualified tax adviser.
Business model and advertising
InfoCrypto is funded by third-party advertising served through Google AdSense. The ads are selected automatically by Google according to its own criteria and, where the user has consented, their interests. The owner does not choose which advertisers appear, does not review their creative material and has no contractual relationship with them.
The presence of an advertisement implies no recommendation, verification, endorsement or approval by InfoCrypto of the product, service or company advertised. Ads may appear for platforms or financial products the site has not analysed: treat them with the same scepticism as any other advertising, and check whether the advertiser is registered with the relevant supervisor.
To preserve editorial independence, InfoCrypto uses no affiliate links from exchanges or wallet manufacturers, publishes no sponsored content, accepts no payment for mentions or links and does not charge for reviews. If a product is named it is because it is relevant to explaining something, not because a financial arrangement exists. The data processing associated with advertising is detailed in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
Severability
If any clause of this legal notice is declared void or unenforceable, that declaration affects only that clause or the affected part of it. The remainder stays in force and is to be interpreted as if the void provision had never been included, replaced by another with an equivalent and lawful purpose.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Because the site is operated from Spain, this legal notice is governed by Spanish law: the LSSI-CE, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights, and the consolidated text of the Intellectual Property Act.
Any dispute relating to the site is submitted to the courts having jurisdiction under Spanish law. Where the user is a consumer, the courts of their own domicile have jurisdiction, and nothing in these terms may deprive a consumer of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence in the European Union.
The owner may amend this legal notice to reflect regulatory or operational changes. The version in force is the one published here, with its date in the heading.
